Paul Gurzo is a patent attorney with experience in client counseling and preparing and prosecuting patent applications. He handles domestic and foreign patent applications at all stages of prosecution. His practice focuses on electrical and electromechanical technologies, including telecommunications, computer hardware and software, computer networking, optical systems, Internet-related systems, and business methods.
Paul has provided opinions on infringement and validity of patents. He is also experienced in patent reexamination practice, including drafting third party requests for reexamination and representing patent owners in reexamination proceedings.
Paul is a former Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he worked in an electrical practice group. Paul also worked as an associate at the law firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, where he counseled clients, both domestic and foreign, and specialized in patent prosecution and preparation.
